2011 Accomplishments

1. Booked a house show tour for a good friend of mine with an even better friend of mine (Heather). Visit all my favorite people on the East Coast as a result of it. 
2. Helped book summer acoustic shows, did all of Warped (minus ten days) selling to the lines waiting to get in and occassionally volunteering inside the venue for my good friend Jasmine. See most of the US. Meet a ton of rad people. Come out of my shell a little bit.
3. Start writing for the local publication in town. 
4. Take work/life/family commitments seriously. I think I really grew up this year because I learned you can’t always get what you want, but you can make sure you try your damn best before hearing “no.”
5. Apply for an internship for the local publication even though my biggest fear is rejection. Even if I don’t get it, I’ll just keep trying until they let me. 
6. Get a 25,000 word start on a novel idea I’ve had since I was a kid. 

Now it’s time to be serious about the future even more, save some money (Japan or bust with Heather, seriously), and start becoming an adult. I’m done being Peter Pan. I’m ready to grow up.
